UK sites are currently inaccessible. We are investigating and will update every 15mins until resolution.

A scheduled patch update to our servers caused an issue with service accessibility. We have rolled it back and expect service levels to be restored shortly.

Admin sites are now accessible and we are continuing to monitor accessibility to the main application.

We've now resolved the incident and sites are now fully accessible. On behalf of SEAtS the Support Team apologise for the downtime experienced today.

Currently, some users are experiencing login issues and slow page load times, we are actively working to resolve them as quickly as possible.

We have stabilised system performance over last two hours - we are aiming to to isolate issues that remain and are working towards sub 5 second response times from the web application

Service Update – SEAtS Platform

Yesterday evening, we noticed a slowdown in the system caused by a high number of connections. To help improve performance, we quickly reduced the load, which has led to better service this morning.

We're continuing to look into the cause and are keeping a close eye on things to make sure everything runs smoothly. So far, student check-ins at several universities have returned to normal around 9 AM and 10 AM today.

We’ve noticed an unusually high volume of timetable changes and event updates in the most recent uploads. As these changes work their way through the system, you may experience some temporary data delays this morning.

We appreciate your patience and understanding as everything updates.

Additional resources are pro-actively being allocated on top of the already auto-scaled infrastructure to meet the higher than expected volumes. This issue is being treated with the highest priority team wide.
